Eidos dates Championship Manager 2010

And promises a demo next week.

Eidos plans to release the newest Championship Manager on 11th September.

Championship Manager 2010 (once CM 2009) was held back to become a fiercer competitor for the management simulation crown. The result is a 3D match engine and CM Season Live feature, which downloads match data and statistics as it happens in real life.

There are wealth of minor features too: a set-piece creator, scouting networks, practice matches and better animation and polish.

The effect of these should be evident in a demo due out on Friday, 14th August. This offers over half-a-season of gameplay, and saved games can be carried into the full, retail version.

Look out for our hands-on impressions of CM 2010 in the near future.
