Ubisoft announced a collaboration with Rez and Lumines creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi during its E3 publisher press conference last night.

The pair will create a game codenamed Eden, which Ubisoft US boss Laurent Detoc said will provide "new sensory experiences", according to 1UP.

And that was that; apparently Mizuguchi attended the conference but was only pointed out by Ubisoft, staying obediently seated throughout.

Those comments by Ubisoft suggest a follow-up to Rez, with its vibrating, sensory pads - but then Mizuguchi does tend towards unique ideas with all his games.

We're not even sure what platforms Eden will be on. More information soon, we hope.
