Destiny 2 is free on PC until 18th November

Download it and you can keep it forever.

Bungie has made the PC version of Destiny 2 free to download on Blizzard's Battle.net launcher, starting now, to celebrate the first anniversary of its launch.

It will remain free until 18th November, and anyone who downloads it during that time can keep it forever - no charge.

Bungie made the announcement during the preshow stream for the opening ceremony at Blizzard's BlizzCon convention in Anaheim, California, pointing out the many improvements that had been made to the game since launch.

Bungie also announced that there would be another free trial for the Gambit mode, which is normally exclusive to the Forsaken expansion. This will be available to all Destiny 2 players, on console and PC, next weekend - from 9th to 11th November.
