Days Gone patch notes: What's new in update 1.10, including Survival Mode

The changes and tweaks in the latest Days Gone patch.

Days Gone patch notes for update 1.10

Here are the Days Gone 1.10 patch notes, released on June 7th, copied verbatim from updates by developer Bend Studio.

Survival Difficulty Mode

  • Survival difficulty mode has been included in this latest patch
  • This mode includes an immersive HUD
  • Enemies will deal more damage
  • Fast Travel has been blocked in this mode
  • Survival Vision has been modified in this mode
  • Complete Survival difficulty mode for a new bike decal
  • Two new trophies have been added exclusive to this new difficulty mode

Progression Issues

  • Fixed the issue where players didn't have access to the rock item during certain missions
  • Items that drop from Bounty jobs should now be acquirable after the target is taken out
  • Players should not be blocked from completing certain Bounty jobs
  • The mission cinematic for "There's Nothing You Can Do" will properly trigger
  • Resolved the issue with the knife in the mission "Sherman's Camp Is Crawling"

General Fixes

  • Added a tutorial pop-up screen for recovering your bike
  • Audio improvements have been made for all the guns
  • Adjusted the reticle to be more visible when shooting
  • Fixed a player respawn issue in Old Farewell
  • Various bug fixes and stability improvements

Previous Days Gone patch notes

Here are details of previous Days Gone patch notes:

Days Gone Version 1.09 (released May 22nd)

  • Fixed the issue involving some of the "Marauder Camp Hunter" story line side-missions
  • Improved lighting for the boss fight in the Crater Lake area
  • Fixed miscellaneous crashes

Days Gone Version 1.08 (released May 17st)

Progression Issues

  • Fixed an issue where players wouldn't be able to save, fast travel, or pause after triggering the cinematic to "I've Had Better Days"
  • Fixed the issue that prevented players from completing "Afraid of a Little Competition?". Players may need to move as far back to where the Bounty Collector Merchant resides and return to the mission objective to trigger the cinematic
  • Fixed an issue where players were unable to complete "Searching For Lisa". Players that were impacted will now see the Mission Complete screen

General Fixes

  • Overall improvements have been made to streaming and performance
  • Audio desync issue during cinematics have been resolved
  • Auto-save function will now save the correct number of saves to your save cloud account
    • With this update, we did not delete any of your current auto-saves. You can go into (Settings) > [Application Saved Data Management] > [Auto-Upload] to manage your auto-saves for Days Gone
    • The game should no longer crash when attempting to overwrite the oldest auto-save
  • Patch updates now retain your Difficulty settings
  • Fixed various bugs and miscellaneous crashes

Days Gone Version 1.07 (released May 1st)

General Fixes

  • Audio should no longer be cut out/dropped when it involves equipping certain engines and certain exhausts to your bike

Days Gone Version 1.06 (released April 30th)

General Fixes

  • Auto-save function will now save the correct number of saves to your save cloud account
  • Audio should no longer be cut out/dropped when it involves equipping certain engines and certain exhausts to your bike
  • Difficulty settings are retained through patches

Known Issues

  • The crash on startup and other issues in this scope are being investigated. As of now, if you haven't downloaded Patch 1.06 and start up Days Gone, you will remain with Patch 1.05 active. Updates to come

Days Gone Version 1.05 (released April 29th)

General Fixes

  • A fix for a streaming issue in a certain locations

Crash Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where some players experienced a crash when booting up the game

Known Issue

  • Audio dropping out/muted. If you are experiencing this, equip the default exhaust to your bike. We are looking into a resolution for this issue.
