Zelda - Namika Ozz solution in Breath of the Wild

How to solve the Central Hyrule region trial.

Namika Ozz is one of the many Shrines located throughout Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The challenge inside is a Test of Strength Shrine, has you taken on a powerful foe in combat.

If you need help finding and solving other Shrines, our Shrine location maps page can help, while our Zelda: Breath of the Wild walkthrough and guide covers other aspects of the game.

Where to find Namika Ozz

The Namika Ozz Shrine is on the eastern edge of the Central Hyrule region, and south west of Eldin / Death Mountain and north west of the Lanayru Wetlands.

Specifically, the Shrine is in Crenel Hills on the map, more or less directly east of Hyrule Castle before hitting these two more easterly regions.

Thanks to a new update, it's now possible to play Zelda Breath of the Wild in VR. Want help with the main game? Our Zelda: Breath of the Wild walkthrough can help complete Divine Beasts Vah Ruta, Vah Rudiana, Vah Medoh and Vah Naboris and more. There's also how to get the Master Sword, Hylian Shield and all Zelda Captured Memories and Great Fairy Fountain locations, while our Shrines locations and Shrine maps hub explains where to find and solve every puzzle room, including dragon locations and Labyrinth solutions. We also have a DLC 1 guide and DLC 2 guide, including all Tingle, Majora's Mask, Phantom, Midna outfit locations.

Climb the hill, and you'll come to vast hollowed out trees; the Shrine is simply sitting inside one of them.

Be wary that to the south west, a Wizzobe is inside one of these trees, so it might be wiser to approach from another direction.

Once inside, it's one of the game's many Test of Strength challenges - specifically against the Modest kind of Guardian Scout. The prior link has details on how to best defeat it.

While you're here, here are other Shrines within this region:
