Watch Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's live reveal here

From 6pm UK time.

Get your boots on the ground for 6pm UK time tonight, when Activision will rollll out the red carpet for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 - or, to use its title in official marketing, Black Ops IIII.

The game's official unveiling is happening in a hanger somewhere in Los Angeles, California. Our resident COD fan Wes is in attendance.

Eurogamer sources first broke word of Black Ops 4's existence back in February, when we heard Blops 3's full sci-fi focus had been dialled back a notch to fit the franchise's recent desire for a more grounded feeling.

Since then, we've learned Black Ops 4 will not have a single-player campaign, and that developer Treyarch has instead focused on expanding its multiplayer and Zombies modes.

And then there's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered. Activision has yet to announce this officially, but Eurogamer sources have said it is in the works and will not feature multiplayer. Perhaps Black Ops 4 and Modern Warfare 2 will be offered together, somehow?

There's not long to find out.

Remember that time Donlan asked the British Museum if IV or IIII was the correct Roman numeral? Yes, we do too.
