SSFII Turbo HD Remix beta extended

Boy, that escalated quickly.

Capcom has officially extended the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix beta.

Those of you punching each other as Ryu and Ken on Xbox Live can now do so until 5th September.

To access the SSFII Turbo HD Remix beta, just buy a copy of Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3, which is actually pretty good as it goes.

Capcom also asks beta players to continue reporting bugs at beta.capcom.com. (At least click the link to keep up the pretence.)

As announced last week, Capcom is using your feedback to tweak the game - with a beta patch due out soon making 13 changes.

You can see the effect those tweaks will have in Capcom-Unity's video blog post showcasing the before and after.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is due out on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network later this year, and while the beta is restricted to Xbox Live for logistical reasons it will help inform the coders tweaking the PS3 version as well.
