Puzzle Fighter XBLA/PSN dates

XBLA Wednesday, PSN Thursday.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is set to be released on Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow morning (Wednesday) at 9am GMT, and on PlayStation Network on Thursday.

SPFIITHDR is Capcom's stab at a falling-blocks puzzle game with a competitive element, and you've probably played it other platforms. If not, you're in for a treat.

This version offers proper high definition graphics, a new "rebalanced X" game mode, local and online multiplayer and spectator modes, and a title that suggests Capcom's actually beaten its way out the back of chez self-parody and run into trouble opening the side-gate in an effort to get round the front and retrieve its bike.

As is always the case with XBLA games, there will be a demo to help you make your mind up, and the full version will cost 800 Microsoft points, which is equivalent to GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.30 / TBH THX. We're not sure what the pricing situation is on PSN yet, so we'll let you know on Thursday.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is also due out on PC at some point.

Also due on Live this Wednesday is a Bomberman Live "Bomb-Up Pack" and some downloadable content for Eets: Chowdown. Enjoy.
