Route 208 Pokémon, trainers and items

Route 208 isn't the longest route, but with its waterfalls and water it's a fairly interesting one, which you should revisit once you have Waterfall and Surf!

For now, there are a few trainers to battle and Pokémon and items to collect, and also a couple of people you should definitely talk to.

The first is the Berry Master, in his house in the north-east of the route. He gives you a free berry every day - a great way to get some of the much rarer ones for planting and multiplying over time, or just the odd free one when you fancy it.

Arguably more importantly, in the south-east corner of the route, partially obscured by the trees along the bottom of the area, is a person who'll give you the Odd Keystone when you talk to them. This is a key item for encountering Spiritomb, a one-of-a-kind Pokémon! He gives you some very mysterious instructions: "Go to Route 209! Head to the Grand Underground! Listen to the stone pillar! Talk to spelunkers!". Interesting!
