PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight goes back on sale at the end of October

With new updates and DLC support.

Warner plans to put the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight back on sale at the end of October.

In a post on the Batman: Arkham Knight Steam page, the publisher said further planned updates for the game are expected to launch at the end of October, and the PC version will be put back on sale alongside them.

At that point support for all the downloadable content that has already released for the console versions of Batman: Arkham knight will be in place for the PC version.

Warner suspended sales of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC back in June, while performance issues were addressed.

The game launched with a raft of issues on PC. It later emerged the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight was not made by Rocksteady but by external studio Iron Galaxy.

A couple of weeks ago Warner released an interim patch that improved the game. The updates it's working on now for the end of October target launch include:

  • Adding support for SLI and Crossfire.
  • Adding support for the latest DLC and Season Pass content.
  • Adding support for additional updates such as Photo Mode.
  • Continued improvements and bug fixing for a Windows 7 specific memory issue that occurs on configurations with 8GB of system RAM and some Nvidia GPUs during extended game play.
  • Continued improvements for Windows 10 specific issues on systems with some AMD GPUs.
