Begins later this month.EA's DICE studio has announced a start date for the PC beta of Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
Doors open on Thursday, 28th January, and close a month later on Thursday, 25th February.
One map, Port Valdez, will be available, and it support 32 players in game mode Rush. The focus of this snowy map is the Russians' attempt to bombard Alaskan oil supplies.
To take part, pre-order a copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 from the EA Store, where the game releases a day early on 4th March.
A Steam beta is in the works but not confirmed, DICE added on its blog. Also, no mod tools or public server files will be released for the game.
There will be dedicated servers, though. Wink.
