Dancing Stage Xbox bundle revealed

Thrustmaster thrusts a mat into the mix. Which is pretty useful.

Thrustmaster and Konami have teamed up to bundle a shiny new dance mat with next month's Xbox release of Dancing Stage Unleashed (Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix in the States, where it came out in November 2003), and all the usual £39.99, too (although Amazon seems to list it for just £29.99 at the time of writing here).

Dancing Stage Unleashed is the first dance game we're aware of for the Xbox, and in addition to the usual features - including the coveted Work Out mode to work off those cals - and a broad spread of tracks, it's also Xbox Live enabled, allowing players to download new tracks and dance steps, compete against other dancers and see their best scores totted up in an online league table.

Tunes in the European version include Blondie's Call Me and Heart of Glass, The Wonderstuff's Size of a Cow and Up the Bracket, Big Brovaz' Nu Flow, The Shaman's Ebeneezer Goode and even Inspiral Carpets' Saturn 5, with the last two benefiting from some video footage to boot.

Dancing Stage Unleashed (and the bundle) should be released on February 27th for Xbox and Xbox alone, according to the latest estimates.
