SNK plans Xbox titles

And takes a fancy to Xbox Live.

Following SNK Playmore's announcement that it plans to bring SNK Vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos to the Xbox in Japan, SNK NeoGeo USA has revealed that it has joined the Xbox third party program in North America and plans to release SVC Chaos and Metal Slug 3 for the system during 2004.

Furthermore, SNK is currently reviewing plans to develop its other popular franchises, and plans to make a number of titles Xbox Live compatible - starting with SVC Chaos.

"We're fortunate in that we have several titles with devoted fan bases," president Ben Herman pointed out. "Xbox users are serious about their gaming experience and our titles fit the Xbox user perfectly."

There's no word on a possible European release for either Metal Slug 3 or SVC Chaos, but as soon as we hear anything we'll let you know.
