Sonic Riders PC demo

Run for the (green) hills.

Even SEGA would probably agree that Sonic Riders isn't the most exciting PC release of the year (seeing as they also publish Football Manager and Medieval 2), but with a beige-box version due out this Christmas we now have a demo to help make our minds up.

417MB in size, the demo will give you a chance to run around Metal City in this curious if unspectacular on-foot racer. The full game features 13 courses playable in a single-player campaign mode or against a friend.

As with the console versions, PC Sonic Riders sees you taking advantage of your chosen character's abilities to find special routes around each course, riding other racers' turbulence to boost past them as well as using power-ups to improve placement - all while trying to avoid running out of "air" and having to walk, or falling off the track into an abyss.
