Sony's Q1 PSP releases

For Europe and USA.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and its American counterpart have both confirmed their first-quarter line-up of PlayStation Portable releases.

European gamers will have to wait until February 24th for the dearth of releases to let up, when Team 17's portable take on DMA Design classic puzzle game Lemmings appears, then it's nearly another month before Sony's Ape Escape P (March 17th) and Climax/Sony's Key of Heaven (March 24th) join it on the shelves. They'll all be joined by SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo in April, which comes with a headset peripheral for voice communications in multiplayer.

Both Daxter and TalkMan (May) also feature on SCEE's current schedule for 2006 so far.

Over in the States it's not a particularly exciting time - March sees the release of Pursuit Force (which came out to moderate acclaim in Europe on November 18th), Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror, MLB 06 The Show (baseball) and Daxter.

Ahead of that, US gamers can expect Ape Escape Academy next week and Neopets Petpet Adventures: The Wand of Wishing on February 28th.
