The OTHER Wii controller

It's a bit more traditional.

Game controllers aren't just about pressing buttons any more, oh no - unless you can play games by waving the things around, you might as well give up, get on your penny farthing, go down the local workhouse and get lockjaw from making matches instead.

At least, that seems to be the opinion shared by Sony and Nintendo, who have both been waving their motion-sensing controllers around with wild abandon at their pre-E3 press conferences. But Nintendo has also released a pic of what looks like a much more traditionally designed controller - or "classic", as the file name would have it.

As you can see, there's no messing about with all that new-fangled motion sensing nonsense here - it's back to proper buttons and good old fashioned analogue sticks. There's even a wire coming out of it.

In fact, it bears more resemblance to a SNES controller than an N64 or GameCube pad, wouldn't you agree? Old is the new new, you know.
