Unreal Tournament on PSP?

Epic Games and Midway are both keen, according to vice president Mark Rein, who says "it's just really a matter of wait and see".

Epic Games would like to see Unreal Tournament on PlayStation Portable, vice president Mark Rein has told our sister site GamesIndustry.biz in an exclusive interview this week.

Asked whether Epic was working on anything for the PSP, Rein said that Unreal Tournament publisher Midway had "expressed an interest".

"We said yeah, we'd love to see it - so it's just really a matter of wait and see." Although Epic does not have any "specific" plans, Rein said "I think it'd be great to get an Unreal Tournament title multiplayer on PSP."

"We just don't know when that would be possible. It would probably have to be handled by an outside development house," he added.

With both publisher and developer clearly interested, however, it's looking more likely than not.
