Namco Museum to launch on PSP next month?

PSP to get a retro boost in February according to retailers.

Namco Museum is set to give the PlayStation Portable its first extended taste of retro gaming when the 70s/80s arcade compilation launches in Japan towards the end of next month, Japanese retailers indicated this week.

According to reports, Namco Museum will launch on 24th February. The compilation features the likes of Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Galaxian, Dig-Dug, Rally-X and New Rally-X.

Pac-Man, Galaga, New Rally-X and Dig Dug are said to take special advantage of the hardware. Namco has yet to confirm exactly how, but has previously said the compilation would support wireless multiplayer of some description.

Rally-X would be no stranger to the PSP, of course, having popped up in Ridge Racers as an optional pre-game distraction.
