New Street Fighter IV character revealed

He's called El Fuerte, apparently.

A new Street Fighter IV character has been unveiled in the pages of the latest issue of Famitsu.

As reported by Kotaku, the character appears to be sporting some kind of white mask and hair like a pineapple.

He's called El Fuerte. According to our extensive research, i.e. Google and My Spanish Coach, Fuerte is Spanish for 'strong'. So El Fuerte probably doesn't translate as The Scary Clown as we first speculated despite the Pennywise similarities.

Capcom has yet to confirm what platforms SFIV is being released on, let alone when it's out - but PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are looking highly likely. In the meantime there's lots to look at on the Street Fighter IV gamepage.
