LittleBigPlanet coming in October

PlayStation Home also due in autumn.

Speaking at the SCEE PlayStation Day in London, Kaz Hirai has revealed LittleBigPlanet will be released in October.

Media Molecule's effort will "revolutionise" the way people interact with games, according to Hirai. As you probably know already, LBP is PS3 exclusive that will let you create your own game levels and share them online.

Hirai also confirmed that PlayStation Home will be "open to the public towards the end of the year". He apologised for the delayed release, but said he won't open up Home until he's "completely happy with it".

"Our confidence in Home has not wavered," Hirai told the audience. However, "As great as it currently is, it needs a little more time."
