F1 2015 release date delayed by a month

Now due off the starting grid in July.

Codemasters has delayed the release of F1 2015 until 10th July.

The new date is visible in a just-released teaser trailer for the game, which had previously been due to launch on 12th June.

F1 2015 will mark the series' first entry built for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (it's also coming to PC).

Codemasters previously told Eurogamer it was aiming to hit 60fps on both consoles. PlayStation 4 will likely get the 1080p resolution treatment, while Xbox One gets 900p.

"On console we've had it very, very close to 60fps, certainly on PS4," F1 2015's game designer Steven Embling explained back in April. "Everyone at the studio is doing a fantastic with the optimisation, and we're in the final couple of months before release where there's a big push that we hit that 60fps, and that's the plan."
