EndWar gets Escalation Pack DLC

Plus 4v4 multiplayer mode update.

Ubisoft plans to release an Escalation Pack for Tom Clancy's EndWar on Xbox 360 and PS3 today. That's the plan; there's nothing on either online service just yet.

Update: Ubisoft has told us the pack costs 800 Microsoft Points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60) on Xbox Live Marketplace, or EUR 9.99 from the PlayStation Store - pound pricing is still to be confirmed.

The Escalation Pack adds four brand new missions: the Siege of the Kursk Firebase (Ukraine), the Assault on Devon beach (England), the Raid on Rota naval base (Spain) and the Conquest of Dorsey Knob (USA, West Virginia).

These are apparently previously unseen areas, and can also be skirmished.

Additionally, there will be three extra unit upgrades to work with, plus 10 new Achievements and Trophies to unlock.

Today marks the arrival of a title update adding four-versus-four multiplayer, too. The patch will be available on Xbox 360 today, and on PS3 early next year.

Tom Clancy's EndWar, released back in November, was praised for its ambitious headline voice-command controls.

Head over to our Tom Clancy's EndWar review to find out why.
