De Blob creator doing WiiWare game

It's a side-scrolling cartoon RTS.

Original PC de Blob creator Ronimo Games has plans to release a new WiiWare game before the end of the year.

Titled Swords & Soldiers, it's a side-scrolling RTS that reminds us a bit of Asterix - given the cartoon-style presentation and wacky helmets on display. The idea is that three factions battle to gain the power of the gods.

The game has single-player and split-screen multiplayer, and a host of other modes besides.

It's due out in Q4. No other details have been released, but we're interested nonetheless.
