Clash of Heroes dev shows off hardcore XBLA shooter Super Time Force

Intentional wubstep and explosions herald Capybara's latest.

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes developer Capybara has revealed its next project: hardcore platform shooter for Xbox Live Arcade named Super Time Force.

The gun-toting 2D sidescroller looks set to offer quick-fire fun and a Super Meat Boy-esque focus on retrying levels instantly upon death.

Super Time Force is due for release on XBLA sometime next year, Capybara has revealed.

Players will control an elite squad of time-travelling heroes who fight alien invasions, Nazis, and the SOPA.

As Capybara's official site explained:

"THE YEAR: 198X. LOCATION: OUTER-SPACE / 4TH DIMENSION AKA TIME. THE PROBLEM: EVERYTHING'S GONE TO SH**. THE MISSION: FIX IT."

A most excellent first trailer for the title explains more below. It contains a least one exploding dinosaur.
