UPDATE: The Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic iPad port is available now on the App Store for £6.99 / $9.99 where it's a whopping 1.98GB download.

Original story: BioWare's fantastic role-playing game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic has been ported to iPad.

IGN has reviewed it, revealing new touch-based controls that fit the sci-fi epic nicely - bar a few navigation issues. The port was handled by Mac specialist Aspyr.

No word yet on when KOTOR on iPad will be released, but we suspect it will be this week.
