Nintendo's E3 2012 Conference Finished

Update: The conference is over! It's fair to say that got a mixed reception, from the early highs of Pikmin 3 to barely a smattering of applause after Nintendo Land was revealed. Here's a rundown of the announcements:

- Pikmin 3 revealed by Nintendo
- Wii U to support two GamePads
- New Super Mario Bros. U announced for Wii U
- Nintendo: Wii U supports 1080p, CPU and GPU revealed
- New Wario game heading to Wii U
- P-100 from Platinum Games coming to Wii U
- Scribblenauts Unlimited announced for Wii U
- Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition announced for Wii U
- Mass Effect 3 headed to Wii U
- Wii Fit U announced
- Paper Mario: Sticker Star detailed
- New Super Mario Bros. 2 US release date
- Luigi's Mansion 2 renamed, dated
- Lego City Undercover announced for Wii U
- Nintendo Land announced for Wii U
- Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition trailer (video)
- FreeStyleGames working on Wii U karaoke title

Original story: On Sunday night, Nintendo took the unprecedented step of unveiling its revised Wii U hardware and online Miiverse service in a YouTube video.

In a move we applauded for resetting conference expectations after last year's divisive showing, president Satoru Iwata gave us all the hardware details and told us what to expect from its E3 press conference: nothing but Wii U software.

If the prospect of a Nintendo E3 Conference dedicated exclusively to software for a new home console doesn't get you excited, then you probably need to go home and rethink your life. The rest of us will be able to pile in here and watch the stream and read along with Rob Purchese's live text coverage from 5pm UK time.

@KingDom, What's that I hear? Ninty, poor performance? Try not to cry. So much for Ninty 'smashing E3' eh?
  • drumbaby 12 months ago

So let me get this straight, Aliens Colonial Marines is being delayed so Nintendo have a half decent grown up title at launch?

    Grrrrrr
  • inferna_hermit 12 months ago

Wii U Disappoints U. seriously what was that ? could it be more worst ? anyway last year when fake Wii U was announced i remember they showed some Zelda TechDemo but yesterday i just saw some sick graphics that was not even close to this gen consoles. what just happend ?
  • Dragovian 12 months ago

What a load of rubbish. No Metroid, Zelda, F-Zero, Star Fox or 3D Mario. Nothing to show off the graphics. No reason to buy the Wii U.
  • rawtheory 12 months ago

Oh Nintendo, how I loved thee. Now you are a grizzled old burnout I can't relate too. Maybe its time to put down the crystal meth before you develop a bath salt habit and call it quits....
  • TheEarlOfZinger 12 months ago

Same old shit now in 1080p.
  • LLT_taz 12 months ago

@wellzy4eva serious they can make more IP's.... like modern core games not from the eighties and nineties
  • LLT_taz 12 months ago

i Love playing Mario kart, an galaxy 2. but love playing uncharted and MOH more.. so for me I'm giving U a miss
  • Devox 12 months ago

Wow, those 3 presentations...like having a beauty contest in a leper colony.
  • Squidgywidgywoo 12 months ago

Nintendo, you have mad me sad. I hope you're happy with yourselves! :'(
  • Sid-Nice 12 months ago

What an embarrassment ?Where are the games Nintendo?? When Nintendo said ?The Wii U would cater for the core gamer? did they not mean the ?Cock gamer? utter casual trite apart from the odd title that is/are already available on multiplatform.

Ok I did like Lego City Undercover, Pikmin 3, Rayman Legends and even Zombi U could be fun if it has a ?Shaun of the Dead? themed humour to it.
  • SpaceMonkey77 12 months ago

    Define 'proper' games?

Don't play coy, you know what I mean when I say that. I don't mean board games, sexy time with your mother, I means solid experiences that aren't gimped by controls, use imagination and frankly are made by Nintendo, if possible.

See those games Ubisoft displayed? A whole lot of solid games there. It's telling when Ubisoft can produce product that makes Nintendo as a company look like a bloody joke.
  • SpaceMonkey77 12 months ago

Apologies on my spelling, slight of finger, in the surprise of being right about Nintendo's crap.

No point in my saying much else, but Nintendo need to check out of doing games consoles.
  • ronorra 12 months ago

It would be unrealistic to see Nintendo rise back to the days of the SNES but this years effort @ E3 was a disaster imo
  • electrolite 12 months ago

    *proper

    @SpaceMonkey77

    Define 'peoper games'
  • killyourtv 12 months ago

    One word. Gash.
  • greentango 12 months ago

disappointing from Nintendo this year, was expecting far more than a bunch more casual games. so much for targeting more towards the hardcore market :(
  • joshcharlesforrest 12 months ago

That was one of the worst Hardware launches I have ever seen. 'its all about the games'

Funny that because I must have missed them. No in house AAA Games? No Launch information? No hardware specification? No price?

Did I mention there were no games? Im not buying a machine to play re-released of games I already own or can buy on another machine.

Oh wait! They launched a 2d side scrolling Mario! What a load of bull.
  • DAN.E.B 12 months ago

Right so thats E3 finished for another year
Now how much for a half decent PC?

  • Climhazzard 12 months ago

I'm not so sure I want a Wii U now. I hope to god they have more announcements soon. Just feels like the Wii all over again.
  • Pandy 12 months ago

Wow! I was sure this was going to be a day 1 purchase, but not so sure now. If this is the launch line up, then (despite wanting to play lots of those games) I think I can wait.
  • Cjail 12 months ago

No release date, nor price, no word if the hardware is better then 360or PS3.
I believe Ninty fans wants answers to these questions.

By the way Reggie gives me the creeps.
  • kirinnokoshin 12 months ago

Bit disappointing and NintendoLand looks too saccharin sweet to have the kind of mass appeal that Wii Sports has. Despite the raft of Ill feeling here I still get the sense that one extra big exclusive first party title (Metroid, F-Zero etc) would have dried up the tears.
  • megatronx 12 months ago

    absolute disaster
  • SpaceMonkey77 12 months ago

I think there's too many old gits at Nintendo, just like most japanese companies. Nothing about their online plan, nothing about achievements, showing games we've played and few new ones besides, I'm surprised that no one booed them, instead of all that positive false applause.

So weary of watching them mess up, and I'm afraid this is another possible Nintendo console I'm going to skip out on. Shame really. Got 360, PS3 and PC to play proper games.
  • LLJaf 12 months ago

This will still sell loads but today is the day I stopped being a nintendo fan.
  • Durandle 12 months ago

Things people don't care about at E3: Dance Games, Singing Games and Health Games. People may *like* those games, I'm sure they're popular with some, but its not why people come to E3. People want to see things that really show off the hardware, which we've seen very little of!
  • Kami 12 months ago

That felt like a massive anti-climax to this years E3 conferences...
  • 32768Colours 12 months ago

Hang on, that bit where they're carrying the dessert via the game pad while standing on the balance board?

Couldn't that just be done with a regular wiimote? What a fucking con!
  • lavalant 12 months ago

Yeh I get it now fuck off.
  • MrTomFTW 12 months ago

I'm going to run this image into the ground through over-use. Much like Nintendo do with their franchises.

  • EuroStalker 12 months ago

After watching the cliched family crap from Nintendo and all the shallow games directed at them, I hate my family. Families have ruined gaming. Why couldn't you people stick to Monopoly.
  • weedar 12 months ago

I was shocked to learn that the triggers on the WiiU gamepad and gamepad pro are DIGITAL!

  • jellyBelly 12 months ago

thank god steam is coming to linux, very dissapointed, lol
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

Seriously, such a focus on 5-player local MP... Who does that these days? Bit out of touch maybe? =\
  • EuroStalker 12 months ago

There is a fundamental flaw in Nintendo's social gaming idea. It requires too many peripherals. How many people will have 3/4 controllers plus the gamepad thing. Developers won't be relying on add-ons otherwise they significantly lower the target audience.

Wii was simple. Point simple controller at screen. This is fiddly -touch screen, move it about, shake it. Same issue with PS Vita. What is it? Touch screen, standard controls, augmented reality card thingy?
  • joeymoto108 12 months ago

At least Scribblenauts Unlimited looks awesome!
  • lavalant 12 months ago

Think I'll go hug my Gameboy
  • electrolite 12 months ago

Good to see Nintendo have learnt all them lessons from the 3DS dreadful launch. They've now added 'lack of games' to 'confused and dubious USP'. Just need to make sure it's overpriced and the hat-trick is repeated!
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

Also, there's maybe too many mp focused games for local mp-only. Most stuff is online now or sp, I don't generally have 5 people sitting around my console wanting to play a game at the same time. What an odd things to focus on =\
  • 32768Colours 12 months ago

Happy-smiley videogame families in full force to hide just how vacuous the games are.

    It doesn't work.
  • Rubios 12 months ago

Sony and Microsoft did an amazing job compared to this.

And that's saying something, so sad...

Asymmetric gaming translation: we can't make it work with more than one touchscreen at a time
  • brazzauk 12 months ago

Worst E3 I can remember. Nothing but but more of the same games. Liked the look of the new Naughty Dog title and Beyond looked interesting. Apart from that same old shit.
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

Why didn't a single game announced support two Wii U controllers, despite them making a big deal about it from the start? -_-
  • Chompee 12 months ago

Sigh. All you had to do Nintendo was announce one or two proper WiiU games and you would've walked over all the other conferences. Obviously too much to ask.
  • makeamazing 12 months ago

Batman looked graphically a little toned down, and looked a pain to play with the controller.
  • Gaiduku 12 months ago

I still don't get the Wii U the controller looks really cumbersome and they are sticking with motion controls when they have been shown to be rubbish. Still expect ninty to sell a fuck ton though.
  • smelly 12 months ago

    >WTF IS NINTENDO LAND?!

It's basically wii-sports, a collection of mini games to show off controller. I'm expecting it'll be free with the console.
  • Rangerwave 12 months ago

    Well....that was dreadful.

  • SpaceMonkey77 12 months ago

Perhaps the Nintendo fanboys will at last realise that Nintendo have lost the plot.

Its Sony or MS if you want solid games, now.

Nintendo's poorest con yet. Thing is how do you get feedback to Nintendo?
  • smelly 12 months ago

Well that was dull, not as dull as microsofts yesterday.. but still dull. Was kinda hoping for a zelda tease.
  • StriderGoL 12 months ago

It was Nintendos for the taking and they blew it, too many kiddy and lifestyle games, does nobody want core gamers anymore??
  • Baleoce 12 months ago

    "all about the games" wut.
  • LudusSolers 12 months ago

Well that's it, this entire E3 has left me feeling deflated. Really disappointing from Nintendo.
  • dogmanstaruk 12 months ago

So basically they don't have any big hitters for launch. EA quiet, Activision quiet, 2K quiet. Ubisoft the usual launch drivel apart from Creed.
  • jellyBelly 12 months ago

no big reveal at the end????? zelda, reto studions, star fox, f-zero? It was actually worse than last year!!
  • Mr_Understanding 12 months ago

  • Otis_Inf 12 months ago

No zelda, like they showed last year? Interesting... or they keep it under wraps for TGS, but why do that? Nintendo needs all the big titles they can get at launch...
  • CloisterBlack 12 months ago

did they announce the specs of the console?
  • camaway 12 months ago

I never thought I would say this about a Nintendo presentation but this sucked balls, big time.
  • Gaiduku 12 months ago

rather tepid round of applause at the end
  • makeamazing 12 months ago

Well thats confirmed it, Nintendo don't know hardcore gamers and they are squarely aimed at kids... worst show, and i didn't think i would be saying that after MS's show yesterday. Thank goodness for Ubisoft.

  • Durandle 12 months ago

  • Bulbatron 12 months ago

Nice to see stuff like Batman Arkham City and Mass Effect 3 on Wii U, but Mass Effect 3 I'll eventually buy on Xbox 360, to continue my character started in Mass Effect 1, and Batman Arkham City I already have - once again, on the Xbox 360.
  • dogmanstaruk 12 months ago

Nintendo are fucked when the other two bring their new consoles next year.
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

I'll be honest, i didnt want a WiiU and I was secretly hoping this was gonnacome out with some awesome Zelda and new IPs to convince me. Maybe another new monster hunter or upscale of Tri? But no.. Just a giant shit sandwich served up by your favourite peado chef, Reggie. F off Reggie...

Pikmin, Lego City and Zombiu, that's the only titles that have looked even slightly fun. Everything else has either been a port of an existing title that's been out for months, or casual gamer tedious bollocks.
Turns out Nintendo's conference didn't save the show, just as terrible as the other two. :(

  • Otis_Inf 12 months ago

A lot of babbling about a very silly mini game. Priorities, Nintendo! And, no having 2 people talking at the same time on stage isn't helpful.
  • craigm 12 months ago

worst e3 presentation this year by far

This feels like a console that's been out for years. So far no new titles at all from Nintendo, just sequels, and nothing that really sells the gamepad as a game changer. Really hope I'm wrong but haven't been this disappointed at a presentation for a long time, hope they've got something big lined up we haven't seen yet.

Wii Sport and Wii Sport resort are being counted as two separate francises? Ok then...
  • Old_Books 12 months ago

Don't see the third party support here. Pikmin 3 and ZombiU look good, though.
  • mstrsystm 12 months ago

NintendoLand is the new Wii Play then.
  • bawsedog 12 months ago

Didn't know Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort were two seperate properties :-P
  • Gambit1977 12 months ago

    What's this shit?
  • digitalash 12 months ago

Nintendo in actual new game shocker.
  • Bulbatron 12 months ago

ZombiU did looks as though it could be promising...
  • riseer 12 months ago

I just don't think the WiiU pad is all that.
  • jimnastics 12 months ago

They can not sell this console without a massive laun title... new Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart or Zelda... otherwise this could massively flunk
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

@ellzy4eva Isn't it out in 6 months though... Shouldn't that be kinda y;know... sorted by now? And they think they can support TWO controllers when one isn't working yet? -_- Worrying...
  • GundamJehutyKai 12 months ago

    I'm scared now...
  • kinky_mong 12 months ago

That ZombiU actually looked alright, good use of the pad too without being overly gimmicky.
  • EuroStalker 12 months ago

More NSMB, more Batman Arkham City, more Wii Fit, more Dancing games, Mass Effect 3, more Zombies... I don't like where this is going.
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

Anyone else notice how the Wii U controllers are all connected by a cable? Isn't it supposed to be wireless?
  • Britler 12 months ago

Fnally, an awesome looking game, and it has a title that makes it sound like it's some generic offbrand game or something
  • riseer 12 months ago

    Looks broke lol
  • rockavitch 12 months ago

    ZombieU looks fantastic
  • wellzy4eva 12 months ago

  • dogmanstaruk 12 months ago

Ah..The new Red Steel. It could be ok though.
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

None of that is in-game though... Even the hands holding the Wii controller were CG'd. Why fake it all? -_-
  • GundamJehutyKai 12 months ago

Well, ZombieU looks more promising but I'm getting massive "Red Steel" vibes from it...
  • craigm 12 months ago

    1st bit of promise

  • ChanTheMan 12 months ago

If they don't drop very fast quick bits of Star Fox, F-Zero, Zelda, DKC or Metroid or something before the end, I really couldn't give a shit about the Wii U at this current time
  • riseer 12 months ago

I really hate the WiiU touch screen controller.
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

Ugh, shut up, please stop spouting that scripted BS!!! :(

  • 32768Colours 12 months ago

When you hear these PR guys actually talking, they try to say things in the same way they write their press releases. They read badly enough, but said aloud it just seems awkward and more than just a little embarrassing.
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

So these count as part of the 23 games? -_- *sigh*

So 2am Thursday morning for that right?

  • jimnastics 12 months ago

15 mins to save this presentation... this is woeful

  • Osahi 12 months ago

No no no Nintendo. Don't go down this road now. No dancing, no singing, no fitting, no activity sensoring puh-lease...
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

This could be awesome if done correctly
  • dogmanstaruk 12 months ago

So far....so...underwhelming. First a year old title, now a DS game. yeah!
  • edrerai 12 months ago

    what is this ?
  • BadBoyyy 12 months ago

  • Phishfood 12 months ago

Woah, when did 5th Cell start on Scribblenauts Unlimited??!?!
  • ronecvan_is_here 12 months ago

3rd party games!! I was here for F-fucking Zero!! Oh well.
  • Old_Books 12 months ago

Going to see a lot of this I think. Spruced up versions of current games are a low risk option for third parties on Wii U.
  • Otis_Inf 12 months ago

    Nice shoes, dude... o_O
  • Widge 12 months ago

    Batarang element = good
Bat mode = that just another button
  • AdamAsunder 12 months ago

Great game but it shouldn't be in the conference as it's going to be ancient by the time the Wii U comes out.

NEW GAMES that are actually gone that going to convince me to buy a console. I've played this already.
  • weebl 12 months ago

Nintendo: "You can't wear those shoes"
    Jeremiah: "Oh yes I am!"
  • DrStrangelove 12 months ago

    nice shoes... god my eyes.
  • jtodroc 12 months ago

That is a lovely shade of red on Jeremiah's trainers!

  • LudusSolers 12 months ago

    Yay Scribblenauts!!
  • dogmanstaruk 12 months ago

I dunno about you but I found it perfectly playable without touch control. fuck off shoe horned in feature.
  • myiagros 12 months ago

so it's like the early DS games, use second screen as inventory.
  • berelain 12 months ago

ahahah... a 'slate' of games. See what he did there.
  • Gambit1977 12 months ago

    Could've updated the gfx
  • lavalant 12 months ago

    Arkham City Gimmicky Edition
  • wellzy4eva 12 months ago

At least the graphics look the same :)
  • X201 12 months ago

    @Gaiduku

But..but... it has teh new bits.
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

Is anyone else thinking "Haha... you wanker"?
  • Gaiduku 12 months ago

Great a year old previous gen game for a launch title....
  • Phreak_UK 12 months ago

As much as I love Arkham City, should this 'new' version really be front and centre?
  • Mr.Spo 12 months ago

Got a little happier after Mario, it looked better than I thought it would. Nice Yoshi's Island style level in there too. Do we really need an on stage demo of a game that's been out for months?
  • Gambit1977 12 months ago

Why is this on stage? Zzzzzzzzzz
  • o_ci2007 12 months ago

    am impressed
  • Sharzam 12 months ago

would of been out for a year by time see wiiu
  • L0cky 12 months ago

Pity we've all played it already...
  • berelain 12 months ago

Ahh, so it's Arkham City with dodgy motion controls.
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

Don't worry about.. Har..ley... You know.. how.. she.. is.
  • DrStrangelove 12 months ago

    noo nintendo stream died

  • dogmanstaruk 12 months ago

so its completely differernt? no waste of time
  • ludodown 12 months ago

    Metroid Prime U please
  • kinky_mong 12 months ago

Oh look, it a twat from a company that forces Rocksteady to split the game up into expensive DLC.
  • X201 12 months ago

Slovenly execs. At least Jack wore a tie last night.
  • Softie2k 12 months ago

    "We are twilled!"
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

So the cheap lousy ports of existing games starts. What are the bets on how many of the 23 are just ports? I'm going 15-16. Anyone else?
  • Gambit1977 12 months ago

    Unique ;-)
  • wellzy4eva 12 months ago

That would be an awesome Gangster voice...
  • dogmanstaruk 12 months ago

I would have preferred a 3d mario tbh
  • fleagol 12 months ago

Nintendo lead out with a cutesy strategy game and a 2D side-scroller. Completely different planet from MS & Sony. Not a single explosion!
  • OJSlaughter 12 months ago

Man, I was hoping for one of the guys from Rocksteady. They are always great.
  • wellzy4eva 12 months ago

ooh, it's a year old game...
  • weebl 12 months ago

Ah Batman! But I already own that...
  • ChanTheMan 12 months ago

Not psyched for Mario Bros I'm afraid. Why not do it like Mario World?
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

Oooh Arkham Ci... ty.. wait, thats been out for AGES...
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

@MMMarmite I guess it has to, to support the existing controllers. The Wii U controller has a sensor bar in the top though, so maybe something useful will come out of that.
  • lavalant 12 months ago

meh, to similar to Wii and DS nsm games.
  • AdamAsunder 12 months ago

Wake me up when the games actually turn up. All three have waffled on about this superfluous bollocks.
  • DrStrangelove 12 months ago

    Hmm... same as NSMB Wii?
  • berelain 12 months ago

    this is so next-gen.
  • tictac132 12 months ago

I didn't want a Wii U, but Mario is doing it again. Arrrrgh Nintendo!!!!
  • kinky_mong 12 months ago

But can I go on Miiverse from my microwave while sitting in my refrigirator?
  • camaway 12 months ago

IR is just to change channels on the TV, the Gamepad is Bluetooth
  • DrStrangelove 12 months ago

@mstrsystem that's exactly why I'm looking forward to it
  • Gambit1977 12 months ago

    Maarrrrrrrrrriioo
  • MMMarmite 12 months ago

Still using IR & sensor bar by the looks of it
  • myiagros 12 months ago

i thought the feedback was where is the new IP, not where is the same mario game.
  • X201 12 months ago

    Who's Marr-io?
  • kinky_mong 12 months ago

    Spotty cock for Mario!
  • Widge 12 months ago

    @matthewblackwell

Thanks, I only just joined in there.
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

20 minutes in and how many games again? Only 1 that we already knew about. Gonna have to hurry to get 22 more done...
  • berelain 12 months ago

Why not on Launch day, Reggie?
  • wellzy4eva 12 months ago

    porn ads in speech bubbles?
  • matthewblackwell 12 months ago

@Widge It is bluetooth but you can use IR for using the Wii U GamePad as a TV remote.
  • Mr.Spo 12 months ago

23 games? Where are they?? 1 down, 22 to go...
  • mstrsystm 12 months ago

I love the idea of Miiverse but how the heck are they going to stop it being full of profanity and manpart scribbles?
  • cukydoh 12 months ago

@Zomoniac That's only for the TV remote, the controller is bluetooth still w/ the Wii U base unit.
  • kinky_mong 12 months ago

Stop reiterating what was said in the video from Sunday and get to the games!
  • Gambit1977 12 months ago

    No nfs mention
  • myiagros 12 months ago

how much is the second pad going to retail for? probably almost as much as the system.
  • Zomoniac 12 months ago

IR pad? Arse. I don't keep my consoles in line of sight anymore since it hasn't been necessary this gen.
  • AdamAsunder 12 months ago

Get to the friggin' games already.
  • mstrsystm 12 months ago

    No Vitality Sensor then.
  • Widge 12 months ago

Hold on, infrared? I thought this would be bluetoothor something.
  • Osahi 12 months ago

"Nintendo will only focus on games at E3. All the other stuff will come after." No release date or pricing then? Darn. My decision to preorder the system solely relies on those two
  • mstrsystm 12 months ago

Anyone see Ubi's live demo of Rayman on the Wii U? Looked damn good co-op, for the player on the GamePad anyway.
  • FogHeart 12 months ago

Two pads. We're golden. And yes, I do intend to include a cliche with every post.
  • humanchu 12 months ago

wasn't this supposed to be about the games?
  • Uncle_Spanks 12 months ago

Yes!!! Two separate pads. That's what I wanted to hear! :)
  • DrStrangelove 12 months ago

    Oh my God! Two gamepads!

Seeing as Mass Effect seems likely to be heading to Wii U based on what was posted on the German ME page on Facebook, I think the 3rd party support (or the sheer amount of it) is going to surprise a lot of people. Some big franchises will make the sparkly and upgraded jump and we'll wonder why we ever doubted Nintendo in the first place.

This E3 is theirs for the taking.
  • weebl 12 months ago

Nintendo will not have a better year to wow than this. Microsoft and Sony have both played their poor hands and everyone is looking to Nintendo to show something new and exciting.

It is a shame that the console and controller haven't exactly been well received so far so they are on the back foot in my opinion, especially given the odd 30 minutes pre-E3 video they issued yesterday. I feel that may have been a pre-emptive strike towards Microsoft and Sony in case they revealed anything.

  • Jyan91 12 months ago

looking forward to Dragonquest MMO, hopefully they'll have a Wii U demonstration

    MORE METROID!

    (won't buy a 3ds without this either)
  • madeinbeats 12 months ago

Yeahhh, it wouldn't take much beat Sony and MS, but I feel anything other than twatting the ball out of the park here will be seen as a failure.
  • Softie2k 12 months ago

I wonder how many months there will be between Wii U and next-gen Xbox and PS with no sign of either this year.
  • Beano 12 months ago

After Microsoft and Sonys's snore fests, this can only be better.
Hoping for new F-Zero, 2D Metroid and/or Pikmin. New Mario Mario Bros U is a given?
  • LazyDan 12 months ago

I predict that among other announcements, they'll announce that certain Wii games will output in HD on the Wii U, and a major annual multi-platform title will be coming to the Wii U at launch, and be *enhanced* over the other platforms. Can't wait though, Nintendo's conferences are always worth some amount of excitement and/or controversy.
  • Rodster 12 months ago

There's rumors in the US that Ninty will announce a revised 3DS with a 4.3" screen. I'm glad I waited till now.

    Release is for this summer.
  • kirinnokoshin 12 months ago

Pikmin, a couple of other EAD games and whatever Retro are working on would be my meat and potatoes, anything else is gravy.
  • eminusx 12 months ago

Nintendo put a lot of distance between themselves and core gamers with Wii/motion control, this is their golden opportunity to claw them back. Really hope theyve done their homework!!
  • wanted_0012 12 months ago

    @NeonStorm plus 1 to that! If they show a new f-zero I'll get a pre-order in.
  • MORZTAN 12 months ago

I will settle for no less than the most spectacular Nintendo Press event ever! :) Seriously, take it to the fridge this time, guys!!
  • makeamazing 12 months ago

Really not excited for this, but considering the only show that's been good so far was Ubi's, hoping Nintendo show some core games and put MS and Sony to shame.
  • FogHeart 12 months ago

I'm hoping for gameplay of any game that'll also be released for the PS3 and 360 - I'd like to buy the WiiU safe in the knowledge that it'll get parity with the other consoles from the get-go.
  • NeonStorm 12 months ago

    F-ZERO.
  • Mr.Spo 12 months ago

I'd guess 3DS trailers and release dates will be along tomorrow, if this is solely Wii U.

Hopefully means Nintendo have plenty of exclusive software to show, some good first party stuff, and perhaps something new from Miyamoto himself. Very exciting. Nintendo are remembering the key lesson so many forget--software sells hardware. E3 should be all about that.
  • skowhegan 12 months ago

@Pikmins 3DS games come tomorrow, in another Nintendo event.
  • skowhegan 12 months ago

  • Umang 12 months ago

I cannot wait. Dunno about u guys, but I am MEGA EXCITED. I hope Ninty won't disappoint us :)
  • X 12 months ago

A new Donkey Kong Country please Nintendo, you know it makes sense. Maybe another 2D Mario, 3D Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart and Waverace to go with that eh? If so I'm all over Wii U.
  • albo 12 months ago

I feel like a kid again. C'mon nintendo, make me happy
  • JahB 12 months ago

Can't wait. This is either going to be a home run or a complete disaster, here's hoping to an HD remake of Mario64 or Super Mario World in 1080 and full 3D a la street fighter.

Our live coverage has now ended. Here's what you missed: Updating...

HAPPY NINTENDO DAY!

16:18 By Oli Welsh

True fact: it's always sunny on Nintendo day.

16:20 By Oli Welsh

We're installed in Nintendo's venue, the Nokia theatre. (Well, Bertie's not yet - additional security checks, obv.) It's markedly classier and more comfortable in here - no giant sweltering sports halls for the house of Mario.

16:21 By Oli Welsh

Spotted Mr Street Fighter, Yoshinori Ono, on the way in. He looked cute in his matching orange hair and trainers. And, wellwishers will be pleased to know, in good health.

16:23 By Oli Welsh

I BELIEVE

ukuleleimport says:

Do you believe in the Megaton?

16:24 By Oli Welsh

We had great fun recording this last night - John Teti, Matt Martin and I will keep you entertained while you wait.

Machetazo says:

Get thee to the eurogameological podcast, before Nintendo starts.

16:26 By Robert Purchese

Hello and good morning and good afternoon! The Eurogamer team is inside the Nokia Theatre. We're sitting in an area we're not allowed to, but they don't appear to have noticed yet.

16:27 By Robert Purchese

We spotted Capcom's Yoshinori Ono on his way in, and Capcom's David Reeves - Euro president - is sitting two rows back from us. Everyone seems to be here for what we hope is the most exciting of the three platform holder conferences so far.

16:28 By Robert Purchese

Dan Amrich, also known as One of Swords - he from Activision that often blogs about Call of Duty - has just swanned in.

16:30 By Robert Purchese

There's an air of expectation surrounding this conference. And I hear there are rumours of Mass Effect 3 on Wii U. I say.

16:31 By Robert Purchese

This is the most comfortable of the three conferences so far, for what it's worth. It's a sensible stage layout - I doubt Usher or Flo Rida are waiting in the wings.

16:32 By Robert Purchese

But could Ian Wright, ex-Arsenal footballer and Wii London launch celebrity, be here?!

16:33 By Robert Purchese

We saw UK boxer Amir Khan on our flight over. A Wii U boxing game announcement? It's a longshot.

16:34 By Robert Purchese

Jonathan Ross is here!

16:34 By Robert Purchese

He's three rows in front of us. He's got a new beard! Well, one we haven't seen.

16:35 By Robert Purchese

We can't wait to see the big man! He's so dynamic, so energetic!

caesar_ says:

MY BODY IS REGGIE

The12thMonkey says:

Does Jonathan Ross have a box of beards from which to chose?

16:37 By Robert Purchese

We're among the business bods, the VIPs. We're so naughty. I've got an orange wristband! I'm not one of you!

16:39 By Robert Purchese

There's a cluster of photographers at the stage, photographing a Wii U GamePad. They can't know that Jonathan Ross is here - he's got his own chat show!

16:40 By Robert Purchese

Yes, dubstep alert is on standby.

Pandy says:

We will know Nintendo is serious about appealing to core gamers when we hear dubstep.

16:40 By Tom Bramwell

Bring on the griiiiiiime.

16:42 By Robert Purchese

What wacky new IP will Nintendo have created for Wii U? Will Miyamoto conduct an orchestra? Will he do press-ups? What has he been up to? More importantly, has that Zelda Wii U tech demo become a real game?

16:44 By Oli Welsh

Er... http://twitpic.com/9t3n51

16:45 By Robert Purchese

The auditorium is filling up nicely now. We can't be far away from the off.

16:47 By Robert Purchese

Who will open the show? Iwata? Mario?

16:48 By Robert Purchese

Bob Hoskins?

16:50 By Robert Purchese

Nintendo sounds to have the same pre-show mixtape as Microsoft! No dubstep yet. Perhaps it's a generic E3 thing.

16:54 By Robert Purchese

The Wii U GamePad on stage is black, by the way. I've not seen a black version of it before.

16:54 By Robert Purchese

Black is the colour of core gaming, as demonstrated by the Pro Controller. Dubstep can't be far behind.

skowhegan says:

Nearly five years to the day that Miyamoto first mentioned Pikmin 3. It's been a long time coming.

16:56 By Robert Purchese

Eurogamer's Tom Phillips, working from the UK, is hyperventilating with all the excitement, I'm told. He wears Nintendo underpants - he's that big of a fan.

16:57 By Robert Purchese

We've all witnessed you say that now.

WillyWongler says:

@mstrsystm i'd run through the streets naked for a week if that gets announced!

16:59 By Robert Purchese

The teleprompters are in plain sight again.

16:59 By Robert Purchese

There aren't as many flashing lights and things going on as there was at Microsoft and Sony's conferences. It's less blingy, in other words.

17:01 By Robert Purchese

Is Reggie thundering around backstage, pumping Iwata up? "Shigsy, focus! Let's do it!"

17:01 By Robert Purchese

We are GO!

17:01 By Robert Purchese

We start with a video. We're looking at Miyamoto's dressing room. He's got Pikmin people on his desk!

17:02 By Robert Purchese

They're in his suit, in his pants maybe, and he's walking out. Is he coming on stage? All the Pikmin creatures are following him. HE'S HERE!

17:03 By Robert Purchese

He says maybe all the Pikmin are all around us. We're seeing an augmented reality camera show us Pikmin on our shoulders. Oh Nintendo, you jovial bunch.

17:03 By Robert Purchese

Bill Trinen, director of product marketing, is whistled for to translate for Miyamoto.

17:04 By Robert Purchese

Miyamoto is introducing Wii U, and discussing the goals of the machine, to make it non-dependent on one screen - the TV. Nintendo wanted to make the Wii U GamePad screen the first one they went to in the front room.

17:05 By Robert Purchese

The black Wii U GamePad he's holding looks a bit like an oversized Vita.

17:05 By Robert Purchese

A close-up of the Wii U hub unit. Has it changed?

17:05 By Robert Purchese

It's Pikmin 3!

17:06 By Robert Purchese

It's a real-time action management game. You command your Pikmin followers, as you know. The graphics on the foliage are realistic, but the Pikmin are painted in bright, contrasting cartoon colours. The result is visually very impressive.

17:08 By Robert Purchese

The gameplay we're seeing is very smooth. You can throw Pikmin in enemy eyes with the Wiimote. On the GamePad, you'll see the Pikmin game map. You can touch the map and scroll the environment, offering you more commands as, err, commander.

17:08 By Robert Purchese

Using just the GamePad, Pikmin is a top-down affair and you touch to order your followers around.

17:09 By Robert Purchese

You can see at a glance, on the GamePad, all four Pikmin leaders' status. He's talking about the demo that will be on the E3 show floor. The whole presentation is vibrant and fluid. It's the epitome of Nintendo so far.

17:10 By Robert Purchese

Miyamoto pulls out a Pikmin toy from his pocket in a scripted gag. It's a bit forced, but then there's infectious big old smile. Somehow, it works.

17:10 By Robert Purchese

And heeeeeeeere's Reggie!

17:11 By Robert Purchese

"I feel just like a purple Pikmin." He's into his familiar monotonous patter.

17:11 By Oli Welsh

Lots of "WOO! REGGGIEEE" around me in the audience.

17:11 By Robert Purchese

We're going to see 23 Wii U titles on stage today, he says. "And even then, that's only a small part of the range of Wii U and Nintendo 3DS titles playable in LA this week."

17:12 By Robert Purchese

He's talking about having a deep understanding of Wii U. Wii U changes our gaming, how we interact with our gaming friends, and changes the way we enjoy our TV.

17:13 By Robert Purchese

Netflix and Hulu Plus will be there. YouTube as well. Amazon Video, too. He's a walking, talking press release.

17:13 By Robert Purchese

Reggie is referencing the pre-E3 Nintendo broadcast, and how Nintendo will only focus on games at E3. All the other stuff will come after.

17:14 By Robert Purchese

You're killing it, Reggie. And not in a good way.

17:15 By Robert Purchese

There's the black Wii U GamePad and hub unit. Is it nicer than the white model?

17:15 By Robert Purchese

The Wii U hardware will support two separate GamePads, just like the NES did.

17:16 By Robert Purchese

Dual GamePad games won't be here at E3, it sounds like. But look out for them in the future.

17:17 By Robert Purchese

A video on screen is introducing us to the GamePad. We're seeing the analogue sticks, triggers, bumpers, infrared beamer. The GamePad has rumble and motion sensors.

17:17 By Robert Purchese

There's a built-in camera and microphone. There are stereo speakers and volume control. And finally the Home button that can suspend games for updates or connect with friends.

17:17 By Robert Purchese

Still no detail on the Wii U hub unit.

17:19 By Tom Bramwell

He's talking about Miiverse now and talking about how you can share screen images from the games you're playing, share game activity and stuff like that. All stuff familiar to those of you who saw the Sunday video.

17:20 By Robert Purchese

My connection dropped temporarily there, but Reggie is still waffling about Miiverse. He's saying what we already know.

17:20 By Tom Bramwell

Reggie's reiterating that all this will be web-enabled, too, post-launch, so that you can access this stuff via your mobile devices and PCs.

17:20 By Robert Purchese

Mahhhhhrio. Mahhhhhrio. Reggie's moving on to Nintendo's iconic frontman.

17:21 By Robert Purchese

New Super Mario Bros. U. You'll be able to see what other people are saying through Miiverse and connect in the game.

17:21 By Oli Welsh

Raccoon suit Toad. That's messed up.

17:21 By Robert Purchese

We see message bubbles of people above stages on the Mario stage map. "It's a new real-time social window that opens up while you play," he says.

17:22 By Robert Purchese

We're seeing a New Super Mario Bros. U trailer now. It's very bright and colourful. It looks lovely. Mario is swimming, balancing on platforms. Luigi's helping co-operatively. And now Toad is, too. The painterly backgrounds are wonderful.

17:22 By Tom Bramwell

The Mario footage is lovely. Underwater bits! A more interesting map! Beautiful backgrounds! Boos! Giant stars! Multi-hit goombas! A sort of balloon thing!

17:23 By Robert Purchese

Boost Mode. The Wii U GamePad player can place blocks to boost the speed of other people racing.

17:23 By Robert Purchese

Batman: Arkham City is coming to Wii U.

17:23 By Robert Purchese

Harley Quinn voice over addressing Reggie directly. Here comes Warner Bros. president Martin Tremblay.

17:24 By Robert Purchese

This is a unique edition of Arkham City. It's called the Armored Edition.

17:24 By Tom Bramwell

Oh dear, Harley Quinn's custom intro for Martin Tremblay from Warner Bros. was pretty cringe-worthy.

17:25 By Robert Purchese

Sefton Hill from developer Rocksteady is on the screen, telling us what's new.

17:25 By Robert Purchese

You can target-scan things using the Wii U GamePad. You can scroll through a menu. The Catwoman content is on Wii U.

17:26 By Robert Purchese

WB Games Montreal vice president Reid Schneider is here to walk us through the game's big features. That's the studio making the Wii U version.

17:26 By Robert Purchese

BAT mode. The BAT meter fills up and maxes out. Once maxed, you can use the GamePad to activate the BAT mode, making Bats even more powerful.

17:27 By Robert Purchese

We need to activate a switch, there's a newly designed remote controlled Batarang, that you can control with the GamePad.

17:27 By Robert Purchese

You can strategically place explosives on the wall using the GamePad, and detonate them one at a time - or all at once - using the Wii U controller.

17:28 By Robert Purchese

Batman's entire arsenal is available at the touch of a finger. The game looked very similar - identical? - to the PS3, 360 versions.

17:28 By Robert Purchese

Scribblenauts now. Jeremiah Slaczka from 5th Cell, the CEO, is here to present.

17:28 By Robert Purchese

He's got fierce red trainers on!

17:29 By Robert Purchese

Scribblenauts Unlimited is the name of the Wii U game.

17:30 By Robert Purchese

It's incredibly bright and crisp, thanks to being in HD on Wii U. You can draw things to life on the Wii U GamePad, and handle text input on the touch screen. There's a new multiplayer mode.

17:30 By Robert Purchese

We're done with Warner Bros. On to the next partner.

17:31 By Tom Bramwell

(There was a Nintendo 3DS logo at the bottom at the end as well, incidentally.)

17:31 By Tom Bramwell

Being able to create stuff in Scribblenauts and share it with the Miiverse sounds fun. The players in the video were putting mohawks on dogs and stuff.

17:31 By Robert Purchese

A trailer's showing us more games. There's Darksiders 2 from THQ. There's Mass Effect 3 confirmation!

17:32 By Robert Purchese

There's Tank! Tank! Tank! from Namco. There's Tekken Tag Tournament 2. There's Trine 2: Director's Cut.

17:32 By Robert Purchese

There's Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge. There's Aliens: Colonial Marines from Gearbox. And that's that.

17:33 By Robert Purchese

Now we're on to music and fitness genres. "Wii U will make both of these even better."

17:33 By Tom Bramwell

I've counted 11 games so far. Then again, I can't count terribly well.

17:33 By Robert Purchese

Reggie's talking about when Nintendo unveiled the Balance Board at E3, when Wii Fit was introduced. He's as wooden as a tree.

17:33 By Robert Purchese

"What was just one small step for me, was one giant step for expanding the universe of video games." Does he write this?

17:34 By Robert Purchese

More than 43 million copies of Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus have been sold around the world, he tells us.

17:34 By Robert Purchese

Wii Fit U.

17:35 By Robert Purchese

We're getting a first look. She's selecting a workout on the GamePad. She's on the balance board. She can use the GamePad screen for another angle on the floor. The man's on the Balance Board now. He's holding the Gamepad, aiming a water cannon. Err, that didn't look hard.

17:36 By Robert Purchese

Ah, she's using a tamogotchi thing to upload her run from this morning to the Wii U GamePad. Pity you can't strap the whole controller to your arm while you run, really.

17:36 By Robert Purchese

Golf clapping. New events, new exercise routines, and that new Fit Meter (the 'tamagotchi' thing), and off-TV play. They make it new all over again, Reggie insists.

17:37 By Robert Purchese

Now we're on to the music genre. "Almost everyone wants to be a rockstar." But there are two types, watching and performing.

17:37 By Robert Purchese

Introducing Sing by FreeStyleGames, the DJ Hero developer.

17:38 By Tom Bramwell

This is terrible karaoke etiquette. You do NOT sing along. AND DON'T LOOK AT ME.

17:38 By Robert Purchese

People are dancing and singing all together - one person holds a microphone and can see the words and directions to instruct people how to dance on her GamePad. They're all very glamorous. That's not what it looks like when I do karaoke.

17:38 By Robert Purchese

SiNG to give it its bizarre styling, is a working title.

17:39 By Robert Purchese

Nintendo America executive vice president Scott Moffitt is coming on to talk about 3DS.

17:39 By Tom Bramwell

Switching tack to 3DS now, but there should still be 10 more Wii U games to be announced, judging by my calculations.

17:39 By Robert Purchese

He's been taking lessons from stiff-as-a-plank Fils-Aime.

17:39 By Robert Purchese

Tomorrow at 6pm PT - 2am UK time, will be a webcast detailing 3DS games.

17:40 By Robert Purchese

Three Nintendo first-party titles now. First, New Super Mario Bros. 2.

17:41 By Tom Bramwell

Can everyone stop doing conferences at 2am UK time please? :-(

17:41 By Robert Purchese

New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be available in the US on 19th August, he announces.

17:41 By Robert Purchese

Paper Mario now, the RPG take on Mario. Paper Mario: Sticker Star on 3DS.

17:42 By Robert Purchese

There's a new element to the game and it's stickers would you ever believe. The stickers that you collect, by pulling them off the scenery, become your battle commands. We're seeing some of these on the screen. It looks very nice, but we'd rather hear about Wii U please.

17:42 By Robert Purchese

Paper Mario: Sticker Star arrives both physically and digitally this holiday season. That's Christmas time.

17:43 By Robert Purchese

What Nintendo 3DS doesn't have enough of yet, and what it's about to get "a healthy dose of", is Luigi. It's Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.

17:44 By Robert Purchese

It's launching this holiday season. Moffitt's quick look at 3DS titles is nearly over. He'll be giving "several" third-party titles the airing they deserve tomorrow online.

17:45 By Robert Purchese

We're going to see a showreel of the third-party line-up. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion. Scribblenauts Unlimited. Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. And that's it, and here's Reggie.

17:46 By Robert Purchese

He's talking about Lego City, the Wii U game. The GamePad will be a "multi-purpose crime fighting tool", you know. We're seeing a trailer.

17:47 By Robert Purchese

A man is flying a helicopter with his GamePad. There seems to be a lot of screen tearing in this video. Crimes are sent to your GamePad by a talking head that pops out of a map scene.

17:48 By Robert Purchese

Lego City: Undercover, it's called. Lots of clapping. The man behind us thinks it looked "great". A portable version of Lego City: Undercover, for 3DS, is in the works, with bespoke content.

17:48 By Tom Bramwell

The Lego City video gets a warm reception. Lots of that looked fun - clambering around, scanning for criminals, looking for hidden stuff, some neat cut-scenes.

17:49 By Robert Purchese

Another third-party publisher to talk about on Wii U. It's Ubisoft, and we saw a lot of their games yesterday. Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft, is coming on stage. He's a very slight man.

17:49 By Robert Purchese

Reggie dwarfs him.

17:50 By Robert Purchese

He's bigging up the Wii U, and very obviously reading his teleprompter lines.

17:51 By Robert Purchese

The console is "accessible, it's social, it's very innovative. So it's a revolution." He says thanks on behalf of Ubisoft for the Wii U. Good grief. Now we're going to see Ubisoft's Wii U games. Again.

17:51 By Robert Purchese

Xavier Poix from Ubisoft will run us through the games. Just Dance 4 first.

17:52 By Robert Purchese

Reggie will be the puppet master. He's going to command the dancer that four dancers have come on stage to dance to, with their Wiimotes.

17:52 By Robert Purchese

It doesn't look like the dancers have rehearsed this one!

17:53 By Robert Purchese

He jokes that being Puppet Master is like being the head of Nintendo of America. Lots of laughter.

17:54 By Robert Purchese

Now ZombiU, the game that Ubisoft showed a cinematic trailer for yesterday, that focused on the UK and a zombie outbreak. It was very gory. Now we're seeing gameplay.

17:54 By Robert Purchese

Is it on-rails?

17:55 By Robert Purchese

He's using the GamePad as a scope to target. He's ordering it to shoot, he's shaking it to shake off a zombie. The hand we're seeing in the video is CGI!

17:56 By Robert Purchese

Reggie's taking a picture of himself, and it's being Zombie-fied, just like that app from the App Store. Reggie's getting into it. "I like French food," he moans. "I'm hungry now!"

17:56 By Robert Purchese

Assassin's Creed 3. Rabbins Land. Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013. Rayman Legends... Meanwhile, a set is being carried on stage.

17:57 By Robert Purchese

There are three archways, two pink, one green.

17:57 By Robert Purchese

Here come another two archways. What is all this for?

17:57 By Tom Bramwell

That's 22. There's one more game to announce.

17:57 By Robert Purchese

All of the Wii U units are wired in this conference, by the way. "Welcome to Nintendo Land," Reggie announces.

17:58 By Robert Purchese

What if all the Nintendo brands came together? He muses. He's talking about how Wii Tennis demonstrated what a Wii could do. And on Wii U, Nintendo Land will do the same thing.

18:00 By Tom Bramwell

Nintendo Land is a single game that brings together 12 different attractions, five of which are at E3 for us to try.

18:00 By Tom Bramwell

The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest, Animal Crossing: Sweet Days and Luigi's Ghost Mansion are among them. They're multiplayer. Single-player ones are Donkey Kong's Crash Course and Takamaru's Ninja Castle.

18:01 By Tom Bramwell

They look like they're derived from the tech demos we saw last year.

18:01 By Tom Bramwell

Nintendo Land's meant to be a theme park where people can experience different games that highlight the best features of Wii U.

18:01 By Tom Bramwell

It's a "place where visitors from all around the world can gather", thanks to Miiverse.

18:02 By Tom Bramwell

It's on-screen now and it looks a bit like a giant flashy Mario Party board with Miis wandering around on it. We're going to learn more about it at a developer roundtable later tonight.

18:03 By Tom Bramwell

The man on-stage is Katsuya Eguchi, by the way. He's discussing how the asymmetric gameplay will be, well, great. He's using Luigi's Ghost Mansion as an example.

18:03 By Tom Bramwell

Multiplayer Luigi's Ghost Mansion is going to make you feel like you're walking down a corridor being haunted by a ghost.

18:04 By Tom Bramwell

One player wanders around a maze while others pursue him. The players have very different perspectives - the GamePad ghosts can see all the players all the time, but the big-screen player cannot.

18:04 By Tom Bramwell

It's very reminiscent of Pac-Man Vs. Chris Donlan suggests there's shades of Johann Sebastian Joust, too.

18:04 By Tom Bramwell

The Wii U GamePads rumble when other ghosts get near, so players have to talk to each other in order to locate nearby ghosts and then shine their flashlights to isolate the ghosts. Leave the lights on too long and they run out of battery.

18:05 By Tom Bramwell

Not sure I explained that brilliantly, but hopefully you get the asymmetric gameplay point...

18:05 By Tom Bramwell

Players can revive other players who have been incapacitated by ghosts. It's all about teamwork, basically.

18:06 By Tom Bramwell

Haha.

DrStrangelove says:

There's not going to be another E3 love letter from EG next year.

18:06 By Robert Purchese

Shining lights run downs the battery power of the torches. Of course! And so the ghost strikes. The GamePad rumbles when one players is caught. The other players come and help. What do you think? A smattering of applause.

18:07 By Tom Bramwell

"So what do you think?" Eguchi asks. The audience applauds politely. It's not gone down amazingly well, although it does look like a lot of fun.

18:07 By Robert Purchese

We're going to see a Nintendo Land trailer. It's very bright - who would have thought?

18:07 By Robert Purchese

The arches on stage are the same as the arch-portals in the game's hub screen that a train chugs around. It's a cartoon feast of colours.
