An all-new Wario game has been announced for Nintendo's Wii U - and it seems to take its cues from classic Game & Watch titles, as evidenced by its name, Game & Wario.

Like the WarioWare games before it, Game & Wario is a collection of mini-games, several of which have already been detailed on Nintendo's official site.

Arrow's a single-player game that turns the GamePad into a bow, and sees player swiping at the string in order to take down targets on the bigger screen.

Ski uses the motion controls to guide a rider down slopes, Shutter has the GamePad used as a camera and Fruit leans on the asymmetric gameplay that the Wii U leans on.

More mini-games are to be announced before the game's as yet unscheduled release.
