Zelda: Breath Of The Wild is being co-developed by Monolith Soft

Over 100 Xenoblade devs collaborated on it.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild is being co-developed by over 100 staffers from Xenoblade studio Monolith Soft.

In an interview with GameInformer Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto revealed this. "Yes they are involved in this Zelda. People from Tokyo and Kyoto are working together on this," Miyamoto said.

"There is a team of over 100 helping work on this project, and their work has really been helpful."

This isn't Monoloith Soft's first time assisting in a Zelda game's development as the team also collaborated with Nintendo on The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

Given Xenoblade Chronicles X's colossal scale, it makes sense to bring them onto Breath of the Wild, which is destined to be the series' most expansive title to date.
