Between now and next Wednesday.

Echochrome suit Kumi Yuasa has promised that 20 user-created levels will be added to the game between now and next Wednesday.

These plucky puzzles will pop up in freeform mode if you have your difficulty set at two or three; you can change this by pressing left or right on the d-pad between stages.

Freeform selects levels randomly from your gallery, portfolio or user-created folder, with those still to be solved pushed to the front of the line.

Last week, Kumi Yuasa talked us through creating and uploading our own puzzles - well, we say "our", but we're still waiting for the European release of echochrome. Could it be today? Could it? We'll have to wait and see.

The first batch to be added have all been photographed and added to the US PlayStation blog flickr account, and display the PSN IDs of the creators and where they live underneath.

Some look absolutely bonkers, but will probably turn out to be less tricksy than they first appear, which quite neatly sums up our thoughts on echochrome itself.

Head over to our echochrome review for a full rundown.
