Yooka-Laylee Play Coin locations and Retrox Arcade locations

Tribalstack Tropics Play Coin location

First up, you need to find the Play Coin for Retrox's Arcade Machine. This is located in a small cave within the race track you would have rolled through in racing Nimble the Cloud.

Head to the section of the racetrack at the opposite side of the area to the world's entrance, and then look for the part with a mound on one side, some ledges above it, and a small cave in the other.

The Play Coin is at the back.

Then, hop up those platforms that are jutting out above the mound, and you'll see the big neon pink Arcade Machine. Talk to Retrox the dinosaur there, and hop onto the machine to play it. You'll need to get round the race track in the minigame within 5 minutes to get the reward of a Pagie.

Do it again, but this time beat the high score of 2 minutes 30 seconds, to unlock a second Pagie!

Glitterglaze Glacier Play Coin location

Head to the Extended World's Icymetric Palace at the top of the highest tower. Inside, go right, roll underneath the spiked ceiling to the far end and take the path up. You'll appear in a room with Rextro.

Go to the far corner and smash the debris to find a secret passage to another room filled with Play Coins. Only one is real, which is easily detected because it's revolving the opposite way (it's to the upper right, alone in the second row from the wall).

Moodymaze Marsh Play Coin location

Find the river with multiple logs flowing through it, and make your way across, hopping on the logs as you go. The Play Coin and Blue Ghost Heidee are on one side, and Retrox's Arcade Machine is visible in the distance on the other.

Once you've crossed that flowing river, you need to complete a task to earn a Pagie before you can get across to the machine itself. Doing that will turn the damaging marsh into swimmable water.

To do so, talk to the nearby Trolley, pull the block behind the grate nearby onto the button in front of it using Lizard Lash, and then hop onto the buttons on the platforms above the water before the timer runs out to get the Pagie, which also opens up the path ahead by cleaning up the water. This is where the Arcade is.

As for the Play Coin, in the area which requires you to use your Lizard Lash ability, hop between platforms for a Pagie in a Cagie that's up in the trees, which also houses the Blue Ghost Writer Heidee.

Instead of heading up to the Pagie, get to the second platform with Lizard Lash and turn to face the opposite direction. You'll see a high up platform which you can Lizard Lash to again, and the Play Coin on top.

Capital Cashino Play Coin location

As soon as you enter, turn right and run to the end of the corridor, where the arcade machine is to the right. Next to it is a slot machine.

Spin the arm using your tongue, then ground pound the buttons when the Yooka Laylee symbol appears. It's easier if you observe the symbol that appears before it, then pound when that's visible. You'll get the Play Coin as your reward.

Galleon Galaxy Play Coin location

From the lighthouse, turn left so you are looking at the Mollycool. Straight ahead across the water in the distance is an island, where both the arcade machine and Play Coin is. If you fly over, the arcade machine is on the right.

Continue flying, and at the top of the tall, thin mountain at the far edge, is the Play Coin.
