Yooka-Laylee Pirate Treasure locations to unlock three hidden Trophies and Achievements

How to find all five ultra secret collectibles.

Yooka-Laylee Pirate Treasure is the cherry on top of a game already stacked full of things to find and pick up.

As well as the game's many recognised collectibles, there is also one additional hidden item - Pirate Treasure - in each of the game's five worlds.

Practically all of them require the game's last ability - allowing you to fly for a short amount of time - to reach, but the wait will be worth it, unlocking three additional Trophies / Achievements for your time.

If you need more help, then consult our Yooka-Laylee guide and walkthrough for finding Pagies and other collectibles.

Pirate Treasure locations in Yooka Laylee

Tribalstack Tropics Pirate Treasure location

This is in the side of Rampo's Castle, above the race track that goes underneath it, in an alcove. Approach it from the opposite direction that you'd go during the race with the cloud, and use the rocks on the edge of the map to jump to the ledge on the side.

Then, double-jump from that ledge round and into that hole in the wall, where you'll find the crystal skull that is the treasure.

Glitterglaze Glacier Pirate Treasure location

Head into Gloomy Gem Grotto (the entrance is underwater to the right of Trowser) and make sure you have the Slurp ability that allows you to absorb powers, allowing you to eat the gems to illuminate the caves.

Head through the caves as usual, until you come to a couple of eyeball possessing enemies in front of several moving platforms.

Look up and to the right, and you can see the Pirate Treasure in the distance.

Squint, and you can see a flicker of light in the upper right corner.

To reach it, fly over with the late-game flying ability.

Moodymaze Marsh Pirate Treasure location

Head over to the right side of the world, in the area just before the river of logs (you can get there by submerging in water by taking the wooden walkway above from the opening area) where there is a factory building to the side.

On top of this is the Pirate Treasure. Note you may need to fly up to reach it - in which case, you can fly there more or less from where you enter the level.

Capital Cashino Pirate Treasure location

With either the Mollycool or flying move, head to the very entrance where the Grand Tome is located. Fly up above and it's by the lamp against the wall.

Expand the world, and at the far left of the world is a giant asteroid with a conveyor belt running into it.

This is Velocity Terminal, and to get inside you must slurp the beehive on the left and roll up. Inside, go into the first structure and take the right exit. You'll notice the path above has no ceiling.

use this opportunity to fly up and out, so you'll see the remaining structures and pathways spreading out in front of you.

You want to fly to the very end and land on the roof of the last structure, where the Pirate Treasure is.

Land on the roof to grab the Pirate Treasure. You now have to fly the back the way you came and through the top of the passage again, and back out into the main world to continue exploring.
