Xbox One exclusive Scalebound delayed to 2017

Roar.

Xbox One exclusive Scalebound has been delayed to 2017. It had been due out in 2016.

In an update on its website, Platinum Games, maker of action game Bayonetta, insisted development of Scalebound was going well, but the game had to be delayed to make sure it met expectations.

Here's the statement:

Platinum has - as ever - a lot on its plate. As well as Scalebound, the Japanese studio is making Nier: Automata for Square Enix and Star Fox Zero for Nintendo.

Martin Robinson took a close look at Scalebound back in August 2015. Hideki Kamiya, of Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry fame, is leading development.
