Forgive us but Metal Gear is at the forefront of our minds at the moment, with reports that Hideo Kojima's name is quietly being scrubbed from promotional material for the upcoming game. Long-time series fans might be worried that the trademark quirky Kojima charm might have been buffed out too. Let us reassure you it's still very much in evidence.
Big Boss also appears in a video this week about augmented arms that put our puny human limbs to shame. Ceramic blades, gun attachments and robot summoning are just some of the upgrades. To be honest, we'd settle for just being able to open jars.
Finally, Show of the Week looks at bare-hands survival, with no cybernetic assistance whatsoever. Still, the lack of superpowered prosthetics doesn't stop Lara Croft showing Mother Nature who is boss in Rise of the Tomb Raider.
