SWTOR goes offline tomorrow ahead of update 1.3: Allies release

Maintenance set to last four hours.

Star Wars: The Old Republic will go offline tomorrow ahead of the release of patch 1.3, BioWare has announced.

The game will undergo scheduled maintenance for four hours from 8am to 12pm, Tuesday, 26th June. In an update today BioWare warned this maintenance could be extended.

After the maintenance period, restart the game launcher to download the 1.3 update, called Allies.

It adds a Group Finder tool, Legacy Perks, Ranked Warzones and Adaptive Gear. Post patch you'll be able to quickly find groups to take on Flashpoints, Operations, Warzones and Planetary Heroic Missions, BioWare said.

The Legacy System adds new bonuses, including Advancement Perks, which let you customise your levelling. The addition of Adaptive Gear means social gear can now be used in combat.
