Steampunk caper The Swindle announced

"Deus Ex meets Sonic the Hedgehog."

Steampunk crime adventure The Swindle is on its way to the PC, developer Size Five Games has announced.

It's a physics-based platformer that sees you attempting to break into various facilities, thieve loot and then make your escape without getting caught. You'll then be able to spend the spoils on new upgrades that grant you access to hitherto inaccessible areas.

According to Size Five boss Dan Marshall, it "plays a little bit like Deus Ex mixed with Sonic the Hedgehog."

"I wanted to make something no one's done before, and I'm pretty sure this fits the bill…"

The title is still in the early stages of development and is currently without a release date, though you can see a few screens below, courtesy of Rock Paper Shotgun.

The announcement adds that the developer is also hoping to launch the game on Xbox 360, "assuming they can resist putting vaginas in it this time."

Its last effort (while under the Zombie Cow moniker), Privates, was refused release on Xbox 360 due to its "sexual nature".
