Resistance 3 supports Move, 3D

And the Sharp Shooter.

Upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive first-person shooter Resistance 3 supports the Move controller, stereoscopic 3D and the Sharp Shooter accessory.

The Sharpshooter was last seen attached to the Move controller for use with FPS Killzone 3.

"After KZ3 launched, we heard a massive amount of positive feedback, and were inundated with requests to support both Move and sharp shooter, so we're glad to be able to finally confirm the news," Insomniac senior community manager James Stevenson wrote on the European PlayStation Blog.

The announcement comes as little surprise, given Sony's heavy investment in its Move controller and 3D visuals.

Eurogamer last saw Resistance 3 in February. Previewed Dan Whitehead wrote: "There's been a tendency in recent years for shooters to force feed players with pre-planned "cool moments", as if developers don't trust us to make their game look good. Resistance 3 seems to represent the opposite, with a large chaotic situation in an open environment and a toybox that lets you create your own action movie moments through ambient play."
