Resistance 3 patch 1.05 announced

Includes two new maps.

Insomniac Games has announced a new patch for PlayStation 3 exclusive first-person shooter Resistance 3.

Patch 1.05 will continue to address issues, senior community manager James Stevenson wrote on the PlayStation Blog.

It includes two new maps for all players: the Creek and the Granary, Insomniac said.

The news comes as Insomniac releases the first DLC pack for the game.

The Survival DLC pack adds a new game mode for multiplayer called Invasion, which forces Human and Chimeran to divide their resources as they try to hold control nodes simultaneously.

The more nodes your team holds, the faster you score points and win.

An announcement on the next Resistance 3 DLC will be made soon, Insomniac said.
