Resi, Devil May Cry comics in the works

DC to draw Capcom pictures.

Capcom and DC Comics have partnered to make comic-book stories based on Resident Evil and Devil May Cry.

Details on both projects, such as launch month, are yet to be revealed - but both parties are ever so excited about the deal.

"We're ecstatic that Resident Evil is returning to [DC Comics' publishing imprint] WildStorm, where we have already established deep roots into the mythos of this world. We can't wait to continue, and bring a freshness and excitement to the property to match the amazing things they are doing with the game," said Hank Kanalz from WildStorm.

He added: "Dante, Nero and the world of Devil May Cry is a perfect fit for the sensibilities of our studio. We have such terrific inspiration from the anime and games and we intend on meeting the exceptionally high standard of quality that has been set for this."

Resident Evil 5, your fourth most wanted game, is due out for PS3 and Xbox 360 on 13th march 2009. We rather like the look of the game, as our E3 hands-on impressions will point out.

Devil May Cry 4 appeared on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 to relatively little fanfare earlier this year. Head over to our Devil May Cry 4 review to find out why.
