Red Dead 2 for £20 or a Switch and Mario Maker for £300 are some of today's best game deals

Rootin tootin cowboy saving.

The month of June is coming to an end so why not celebrate payday with a look at some of the best gaming deals available right now?

Let's start with a trio console games at some of the lowest prices we've seen for them so far.

Over at GAME, you can saddle up and ride away with a pre-owned copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4 or Xbox One for £19.99. Rockstar's mah-hoo-sive open-world western didn't quite keep me engrossed for all it's relentless attention to detail, but it's a game of undeniable achievement.

You can also get a brand new version on PS4 from The Game Collection for £24.99, but sadly that sort of love hasn't been shared with the Xbox One version.

Best be quick on the draw to get this price.

Find another fiver hidden in your back pocket and you may want to explore the nuclear wasteland and haunted tunnels of Metro: Exodus on PS4 or Xbox One for £24.99. If you go for the version on Microsoft's box, you get a copy of Metro 2033 Redux lobbed in for free!

Search for yet another fiver down the side of the sofa and then you'll have enough to venture into an entirely different and more maniacal wasteland of Rage 2. The bold and brash shooter is available on PS4 and Xbox One for £30.

I wonder if it sings like a Big Mouth Billy Bass?

To add to that, if you're in the least bit tempted by having that terrifyingly gory talking head displayed on your desk or table at home, the Rage 2 Collector's Edition is down to £59.99 at GAME on PS4 or Xbox One too!

Those are some of the best gaming deals we've seen out there today. To quickly cover a few more interesting ones, you can get JRPG remaster Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age on PS4 for £9.99, quaint but tough roguelike RPG For the King for £19.85 on Switch and an Xbox One Wireless Controller is just £34.99 at Amazon UK.

If you built it, they will plummet to their death multiple times.

And, if you're hankering for a console, do have a look at the Switch bundle deals currently available. You can now get a Nintendo Switch with Super Mario Maker 2 and £30 eShop credit for only £299.99 at GAME. A great offer considering the build-em-up platformer was just released today. Meanwhile, Amazon UK is offering a Switch with a £30 eShop voucher for £279.99 - another terrific deal.

Think that's enough for today. As always, though, if you want to keep up with all the latest gaming offers do give us a follow over at Jelly Deals. We have all sorts there, including our top picks for Nintendo Switch SD cards and the best portable chargers in 2019!
