Ratchet & Clank Quest for Booty detailed

Plus lots more PSN gems.

Sony has let us in on Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty.

This is a PSN continuation of Tools of Destruction that picks up where the platforming duo's Blu-ray based PS3 adventure left off. Sony says it will be out this summer for USD 14.99.

It will be shorter than the PS3 game from last year, but it should retain all the hallmarks of the series - promising action, humour, mystery and suspense. The focus is said to be more on exploration and platforming, and apparently it will require a little more brain power.

Graphically it looks just the same, and we saw some fancy new tools such as a wrench with an energy tether that can pick up and move objects around.

Sony had lots more up its sleeve for PSN at its E3 press conference, including Crash Commando (a 2D shooter), Fat Princess (a colourful top-down shooter/slasher), and Ragdoll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic.

We also saw the gorgeous flOwer, PixelJunk Eden, and PAIN Amusement Park.

Look out for more on those soon - we're seeing flOwer at E3 tomorrow.
