Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies has emerged on iOS.

Where's J. Reinhold when you need him?

The first episode is free, while episodes two through five can be purchased for £2.99 / $4.99 each or as a package for £10.49 / $14.99.

This isn't the first time a Phoenix Wright game has been ported to iOS as last year saw the release of the original Ace Attorney trilogy on Apple's mobile platform. Curiously, the fourth game in the main series, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, was never released on mobile devices. While that game didn't star Wright, he played a large part in it and its protagonist is a main character in Dual Destinies.

Eurogamer regular Simon Parkin was rather enamoured with Dual Destinies upon its launch on 3DS last autumn. "The smart writing and interlocking narratives elevate the straightforward play, drawing you in with a crime novelist's techniques, then challenging and delighting you with those of a crossword-writer," he wrote in his glowing Dual Destinies review.
