Microsoft has revealed that Xbox 360 owners will be able to buy, queue up and set off Marketplace downloads remotely with New Xbox Experience.

As seen in screenshots of the next version of Xbox.com, this will include premium downloads, and Microsoft has said it will go live with the functionality when NXE launches on 19th November.

By way of a statement from Xbox Live's internet cheerleader, Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, we're also informed that NXE will require 128MB of free space.

Since not every 360 ships with a hard disk, Hryb notes that "a small percentage of Xbox 360 owners do not have enough memory to accommodate the update", which is of course a mandatory patch.

Good news if you're one of them, though, because "Microsoft will be offering storage solutions to the Xbox Live community", with "more details in the coming weeks".
