No More Heroes 2 dated for April

Rising Star hoping for a Touchdown.

Rising Star Games has announced an end of April release date for Wii game No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle.

This is Grasshopper's follow-up to, er, No More Heroes - a quirky, stand-out action game designed by Suda 51, who conducts interviews 'on the bog'.

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle will repeat the openworld assassin-versus-assassin formula as protagonist Travis Touchdown must duel his way from bottom of the United Assassins Association ranking to the top.

There'll be a new story and a fresh cast, and Touchdown will be able to dual-wield Beam Katanas this time.

Suda's said No More Heroes 2 will be a last hoorah for the series on Wii, as future instalments need new hardware and, more than likely, a new audience. That's both a shame and a delight.

We'll be reviewing No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle on import very soon wink nudge.

Just how did toilet-fan Suda 51 come up with a strapline like Desperate Struggle?
