Ragnarok Online publisher acquires No More Heroes developer Grasshopper Manufacture

Suda51 delighted.

Ragnarok Online publisher Gungho Online Entertainment has acquired No More Heroes and Lollipop Chainsaw developer Grasshopper Manufacturer.

Grasshopper, led by designer Suda51, will continue to operate as normal as they work on various projects including upcoming action game Killer is Dead. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Gungho already owns Grandia creator Game Arts, Tenchu developer Acquire and Gravity, and is responsible for PSN game Dokuro.

Suda51 said: "By joining GungHo Online Entertainment, we are aligning ourselves with a strong, established publishing force that will support our vision to further create inspired new games that appeal players across the world.

"The Grasshopper team and I have many new ideas to share with our fans as we move forward so this union with GOE will help us realize our future plans."
