No campaign co-op for COD: Black Ops

But has two-player online splitscreen.

Call of Duty: Black Ops' campaign will not be playable cooperatively, creator Treyarch's confirmed.

However, the game will feature two-player online splitscreen multiplayer – a first for the phenomenally popular first-person shooter series.

The lack of campaign co-op is sure to disappoint COD fans. It was one of the most popular features of Treyarch's last Call of Duty game: World at War.

But confirmation of online splitscreen multiplayer will no doubt please many. Check out screens of the mode over at CallofDutyfaq.com.

Two-player split-screen is playable in the combat training mode and multiplayer, Dan Suarez told Gamertagradio.com.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is due out on 9th November. Expect fireworks.
