It is one of the golden rules of life that as soon as you buy something it's inevitably either reduced at the very next shop you approach or it turns up in your Christmas stocking. Twice.
So, thanks very much to whoever it was that last bought the Collateral Damage Pack for The Outfit for 500 Microsoft points, because it is now free for all.
As followers of the Internet remember, Collateral Damage comprised three new multiplayer maps - The Bleak Mile, Eagle's Nest and The Luftwaffe Finale - and it still does, obviously.
As with all the other multiplayer maps, you can team up or just go head to head, using the game's Destruction On Demand system to literally pluck tanks out of the sky and roll them over your enemy's head.
We didn't think the full game was all that good, to be honest, but if you got on with the multiplayer then there's really little excuse for not giving Collateral Damage a go.
Particularly as a giant upsurge in interest might encourage a few people to stop charging us exorbitant sums for downloadable game add-ons.
