F.E.A.R. Combat is set to be released on Sierra's official website in just over an hour. Alternatively, those of you not reading this at 9.56am: it's out now! Rejoice!

All you have to do to get it is sign up for the F.E.A.R. mailing list, which will then present you with a key code to unlock Combat.

And if you're already an owner of F.E.A.R. and just fancy playing it again against a group of greenhorns, Sierra's thought of you too, and paved the way with a 1.07 patch that introduces a trio of new maps and a hatful of bug-fixes in the process.

Available directly from the publisher and other websites whose hyperlinks speak of greater stability, the 1.07 patch can be had as an upgrade file or a global version that includes all the previous updates.

F.E.A.R. Combat, in case you've not been paying attention, is a freebie version of the PC first-person shooter's entire multiplayer component, aimed at increasing the public's exposure to it in light of major changes made recently.
