Caesar IV demo

With your mouse-clicks.

Vivendi and Tilted Mill have released the first playable demo of Caesar IV, giving you a chance to try out the latest thing in thousands-of-years-old urban planning.

The 446MB demo apparently tasks you with putting together a small city in the "timber rich province of Narbonensis". Grand though it may be, however, you won't find you need a colossal PC to get the most out of it - the developers quote a 1.6GHz processor, 512MB RAM and a 64MB video card.

The full game, as someone as excellent as you well knows, is due out later this year, and if you want a bit more insight into whether it's interesting or not, or simply something to do while you wait for the download to finish, we suggest exploring the game-page where we have a preview, trailers and shots.
