Resident Evil for DS?

Capcom keeping schtum.

Rumour has it that Capcom is hard at work on a remake of the first Resident Evil game for the Nintendo DS.

A report in NGC magazine says it'll use the same camera perspective and controls as Resident Evil 4 - "That's right, a fully 3D version of the original survival horror, all in the palm of your hand."

The article also states that you'll use the touch screen to move and attack, "With the slashes of the stylus dictating the swipes of Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine's knife."

Capcom is refusing to comment on the story, telling us: "We're not sure where NGC got their information from."

Guess we'll just have to wait and see...
