New downloadable content packs for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed are now available via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.

The Jedi Temple Mission pack costs 800 Microsoft Points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60) GBP 7.99 on PSN. That gets you a new level set on the planet Coruscant, where you once again play as the Secret Apprentice.

The pack also includes nine new costumes so you can play through the single-player campaign as Mace Windu, Darth Maul, Qui-Gon Jinn, Dark Stalker, a lightsaber training droid and a combat training droid. Plus you get apprentice's temple exploration, sith training and cybernetic reconstruction outfits.

Alternatively there's a standalone costume pack. This lets you dress up as Luke Skywalker (Tatooine gear), a Republic trooper, Ben Kenobi, Plo Koon, Count Dooku, Jango Fett, Spirit Apprentice and C-3P0. There are also animated and utility combat apprentice suits. The costume pack costs 400 Microsoft Points (GBP 3.40 / EUR 4.80) or GBP 3.99.

The Force Unleashed was released back in September and turned out to be one of the best Star Wars games ever, which admittedly isn't saying much. Find out what we though of it by reading the review.
